"COPERNICUS. The European Earth Observation Programme". Previously known as GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) is a European initiative, launched in 1998. The ultimate objective is the development and implementation of services which provide and update information on the environment and security. PI: Dania Abdul (ETC SIA). "gSMART. To foment academic and scientific exchanges between European and Central Asia universities (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan y Uzbekistan).
