FACULTY - DOCTORAL PROGRAM MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The Doctoral Programme is supported by 34 PhDs with a total of 52 six-year research periods, 96% of who are active, and who in the last 5 years have published 153 contributions in the JCR and supervised 34 doctoral theses. 

 

Mechanical and Materials Engineering

Design and optimization of mechanical and control systems applied to land vehicles, machines, and robots. Study of new surgical methods. Optimal synthesis of mechanisms. Macroscopic physical properties and behavior of materials in service. Structure and dynamics of colloidal association systems. Fabrication of nanostructures and analysis of materials using analytical microprobes. Analysis and optimization of machining processes for light alloys. Methods of analysis of plastic deformation processes. Dimensional and industrial metrology. Industrial heritage.
