El “estado islámico”: derrota territorial

RESUMEN

Ante los constantes embates de una firme comunidad internacional que ya se vislumbra victoriosa frente a la barbarie global del terrorismo, el grupo extremista Estado Islámico se ha visto obligado a replegar su protoestado hasta el corazón del «caldero de hostilidades»1, y, en paralelo, a expandir su mal descentralizándolo hacia diferentes partes del globo, todo ello con el objetivo de seguir ganando legitimidad y renombre, cosas ambas que necesitará cuando sus últimos bastiones se desplomen en Siria e lrak.

Desde las gélidas tierras de la estepa rusa, a las peligrosas aguas del Índico infectas de piratas, desde los abrasadores desiertos del norte de África a las exóticas j unglas del Sudeste Asiático, no hay latitud, región o nación, libre de una dispersión que se antoja, a todas luces, incontenible.
