Magdalena BOSCH RABELL
Universidad Internacional de Cataluña (España) / International University of Catalonia (Spain)

Magdalena Bosch made the Degree(1992) and a doctorate from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Barcelona (1996). After a year of teaching at the College, was hired by the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya to teach courses in philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities.
The research began in a doctorate focusing on Intentionality and classical metaphysics. In 1997 publishes Metaphysics of Intentionality (PPU, Barcelona). In the 1997-2000 period begins an approach to anthropology and aesthetics (supported by a short research stay in Boston, 1999). In 2001 undertook the introduction to German idealism, ever since the subject of intentionality in their anthropological and aesthetic side.
In 2004 a research stay of one year in Schelling Kommission (München) and in 2008 a new three-month stay at Ludwig Maximilians Universität (München). As a result of the investigation has published several articles on Schelling, aesthetics of Romanticism and the problem of beauty from an anthropological point of view. Over the years he has taken up the study of Aristotelian philosophy, and is currently preparing studies on Aristotle's ethics and aesthetics, while aesthetics of Schelling (1800 to 1807).

The beauty of the art and nature. An apparent contradiction between Hegel and Schelling
Beauty is a principal subject in German Idealism and it is sometimes considered the most important one, because of its perfection and elevated status it is more valued than other themes or disciplines; Aesthetics assumes a higher level of importance (within the realm of philosophy). Hegel and Schelling have described in the same way the spiritual essence of beauty and aesthetic experience: both of them consider the spirit as a protagonist of the beautiful and its possible contemplation by human beings. However, on a crucial aspect such as the relationship between the beauty of nature and the beauty of art, they seem to have opposed opinions. For this reason is necessary to study the origin of this difference and try to understand if the main concepts like beauty, spirit, nature and art are really the same.
