The Servicio de Documentación y Divulgación Científica (Documentation and Scientific Dissemination Service) is part of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Research. It consists of an interdisciplinary team that collaborates with researchers in the common challenge of communicating scientific culture and the results of university research to society.

It is integrated in the Red de Unidades de Cultura Científica (Network of Scientific Culture Units), and is leader in promoting the dissemination and communication of science, as well as in the management and editing of new tools and content related to all scientific areas.

• To play a leading role at the university for channelling scientific culture to society.
• Bring scientific, technical and cultural achievements to the forefront in society and in the media.
• Collaborate in the democratization of university knowledge.

Mission

• To create and maintain tools (portal and Uciencia journal) and services (training and organization of events), ensuring optimal communication to society of the scientific culture generated by our university.
