The aim of the Chair is the research, training, management and transfer of knowledge on issues related to emergencies and disasters, with particular emphasis on technological, psychosocial and health aspects.
This Chair, attached to the Vicerectorate of Research of the UMA, is sponsored by two prestigious companies in the field of emergency: IPSE- Intervención Psicológica Especializada (Specialised Psychological Interventions) and the FOREX group.
