Aim: A look at how digital media is changing or 'disrupting' journalism and how we consume news and information, and why it matters to teachers.
- How is the digital media changing media consumption and journalism.
- What does this change or disruption of media mean for teaching digital and media literacy skills?
- How changes in journalism can inform theK-12 classroom. What skills do students need in the Digital Age? A quick look at sample interactive student classroom projects and newspaper in education programs.
- Q&A last 10 minute.
I will do this presentation in English with a few comments before and after in Spanish
