COST Action CA 16211 RECAST

Reappraising Intellectual Debates on Civic Rights and Democracy in Europe

Grant Period 3 (1 May 2019 – 30 April 2020)

COST Action 16211 Reappraising Intellectual Debates on Civic Rights and Democracy in Europe (RECAST) operates through a series of Networking Tools, being the Inclusiveness Target Countries Conference Grants (ITCCG) one of its mobility resources. They complement other forms of cooperation within the COST Action by supporting international mobility of Action members. They are “aimed at supporting Early Career Investigators (ECI) and PhD students from Participating Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) to attend international science and technology related conferences, event or activity on the topic of the Action that are not organised by the COST Action. ” (COST Vademecum, May 2019 edition, section 9)

For Grant Period 3, running from 1 May 2019 to 30 April 2020, the the Management Committee agreed to allocate initially 5 200 euros for up to four 1 300 euros grants meant for the co-sponsored activity of the International Conference on Hellenic Political Philosophy and Contemporary Europe, Herceg Novi, Montenegro, 29 September–4 October 2019.

This budget could rise thanks to the transfer of unspent funds from upcoming activities, and then be granted for the participation in other conferences.
