  • National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

    The National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), commonly referred to as Taiwan Tech, is a public/national technological university located in Taipei, Taiwan. Taiwan Tech was established in 1974, as the first and the leading higher education institution of its kind within Taiwan's technical and vocational education system. The university is ranked 260 among world universities (subject ranking: Engineering/Technology: 122) in the Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings 2015. The university is also ranked 45 among Asian universities) in the Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings 2015. NTUST Taiwan was also ranked as Asia's 10th best institute in science and technology. Taiwan Tech enrolled 5,645 undergraduates and 4,744 graduate students, and employed 414 full-time faculties and about 318 staff members in 2013. The university’s 14 departments and 24 graduate programs are divided into the following 7 colleges, College of Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Management, College of Design, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, College of Intellectual Property Studies, and Honors College.

  • National Tsing Hua University

    National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) was originally founded as ‘Tsing Hua Academy’ in 1911 in Beijing but was re-established in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1956. It’s since gained a reputation as one of Taiwan’s most prestigious research universities, and is widely known as an incubator for future leaders, with prominent alumni including three Nobel Laureates.

  • Tamkang University

    Tamkang University (TKUChinese淡江大學) is a private university in Taiwan, located in Tamsui DistrictNew Taipei CityTaiwan. The school, founded in 1950 as a junior college of English literature, is today a comprehensive university comprising eleven colleges that serves nearly 30,000 students via four campus sites (three traditional, one online).

    Tamkang University enjoys widespread recognition as Taiwan's oldest private institution of higher learning and one of its most distinguished. The school ranks 9th on comprehensive measures by Taiwan's Ministry of Education and in the top 50 universities in Asia. Over 28,000 students of fifty nationalities form the diverse student body of the school. The school has partnerships with over a hundred sister universities in 28 countries. The university's main campus in historic Tamsui is noted for its scenery. Casually, members of the university community call themselves 'Tamkangians.' Tamkang University is ranked 251-300 in English Language and Literature by QS World University Rankings in 2015.

  • Tatung University

    The university was originally established as Tatung Institute of Technology in 1956 and began to offer two-year college programs. Dr. T. S. Lin was then appointed as president of the school. The institute was accredited as a four-year institute of technology in 1963, began to offer master's programs in 1976 and doctoral programs in 1982. It was renamed Tatung University in 1999.
