The University of Malaga is firmly committed to students’ mobility. It receives more than 1,200 exchange students every year and sends more than 900 students abroad. Every year, the University receives more than 100 international researchers and sends around one hundred faculty members to foreign universities in order to provide a global perspective to the UMA’s educational programmes.
Prestigious international partners from all over the world: Incheon University (South korea), Glasgow University (UK), University of California (USA), Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), Universidade de Sao Paulo (Brazil), Fulda University of Applied Sciences, Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, etc.

The University of Malaga is located in the capital of the Costa del Sol. Malaga was Picasso’s home town and has a population of around 500,000 people. Malaga is well-known for its great quality of life and the beauty of its beaches. With one of the mildest climates in Europe and a rich and diverse landscape made up of coastal areas, mountains and agricultural plains, Malaga is renowned for its oustanding natural beauty and stunning scenery. Malaga is an exuberant culture city where visitors are mesmerized by its stunning museums and inspiring artworks of international acclaim. The city has gone on leaps and bounds to develop its cultural and leisure landscape, making it easily one of the most enriching and enjoyable places to visit in Southern Spain.
