Francisco Martínez González, composer and head of the Music Conservatory of Málaga, reflects on the musical identity of María Zambrano in his Doctoral Thesis, El pensamiento musical de María Zambrano, analyzing music as both object and nature in the writer work.

In his Thesis, presented in the University of Granada in 2008, Martínez González supports the importance of music in the thinker work, considering it as something constant and not anecdotal. In his approximation to this facet, Martínez González defines music as a constant object of reflection for philosophy and analyses the musical nature in key and recurrent poetic elements of the thinker, through unpublished texts of María Zambrano.
