New blog launched on recent books by Kant scholars and scholars of German Idealism

Today, a new blog is launched that uniquely features virtual Author Meets
Critics sessions on recent books by Kant scholars and scholars of German
Idealism and transcendental philosophy in general.
We start off with a session that took place in the "real" world at the APA
last year, on Robert Clewis's book The Kantian Sublime and the Revelation
of Freedom (Cambridge, 2009), with Melissa Zinkin and Paul Guyer as
respondents. However, all further "sessions" will solely be online. Five
such sessions are scheduled from this December until May 2014, and two
further ones are in the pipeline for Autumn 2014.

The idea is that the "sessions" will take place over the course of a week,
starting on a Monday with a précis of the work under critique, provided by
the author; the first critic posting on Tuesday, followed by the author's
reply; the second critic on Thursday, followed by the author's reply on
Friday. It is possible to participate in these sessions by posting
comments.

Here's the link to the site of the blog, where more details can also be

All postings will subsequently also be archived as downloadable pdfs at:
