Oct. 27, 2017Landslide modelling in Stromboli The 18 th and 19 th October 2017 meeting at INGV Pisa to discuss about a new research project dealing with the mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of landslides in Stromboli Island and associated tsunamis. This project, leaded by INGV Pisa, is funded by the Italian Civil Protection. A new collaboration. A new challenging problem to tackle.

May 30, 2017The 21th June 2017, the paper entitled "Performance Benchmarking of Tsunami-HySEA model for NTHMP's inundation mapping activities" was published online at the journal "Pure and Applied Geophysics". May 30, 2017Next 5 and 6th of June we will receive the visit of our colleagues from IGN (Instituto Geográfico Nacional). A two-day intensive training on our numerical code Tsunami-HySEA, that will be the computing core of the Spanish TEWS (Tsunami Early Warning System), is the aim for this visit.

March 27, 2017On March 18, the screening of the documentary "La Gran Ola" took place at the Festival de Cine de Málaga (Málaga Film Festival). The EDANYA Group has collaborated in this documentary in which you can see our numerical simulations.
