Malaga University, through the Vice Rectorate for University Extension and the Ministry for Equality and Social Welfare launched, once again, the Aula de Mayores (Senior Education) which gives the opportunity to those who may be at the end of their working life, to gain access to education and general culture. The Senior Education courses provide a vehicle for cultural, social and scientific debate within an ideal framework for intergenerational coexistence.

The Senior Education classes of the University of Malaga are organized in TWO CYCLES, in keeping with the trends of Spanish universities regarding university studies for senior students, and, more particularly, those of our region.

The First Cycle consists of three annual courses (1st, 2nd and 3rd) which constitute the curriculum of the Senior Education classes of the University of Malaga

The Second Cycle offers nineteen quarterly Knowledge Extension Courses

As a complementary activity, students of either cycle can also enroll on the Practical Courses offered in: English, French, Computer Studies and Health and Personal Care
