Sports Service, UMA International Hub and ESN organise an international basketball match

International and local students from the Buddy Program played against each other in a basketball match on 19 November, promoting sportsmanship and cultural integration at the University of Malaga.
On Sunday 19 November, the UMA International Hub (Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation), together with the ESN Malaga student association and the University Sports Service (Vice-Rectorate for Equality, Social Policy and University Welfare), organised an international basketball match in which students of different nationalities enjoyed a day of sport in an atmosphere of fellowship and fair play.
The match took place at the sports facilities of the University of Malaga and was attended by recently arrived international students, as well as local students who are part of the Buddy Program, an initiative that facilitates the integration of new international students into university life and the city. The teams were formed in mixed teams, which allowed the participants to share experiences, get to know each other better and enjoy basketball as a tool for connecting cultures.
The game was marked by emotion and sportsmanship, with spectacular plays and great team spirit. At the end, the players shared their impressions and celebrated the day with the good atmosphere that characterises this type of activities.
From the UMA International Hub, ESN Málaga and the Sports Service, we would like to thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and for contributing to sport continuing to be a meeting point for the university community.
