Thank you very much for your interest in visiting the University of Málaga!
If you are an administrative staff member wishing to visit the International Relations Service or other central services at the University of Málaga, please note that the only way to carry out a staff mobility under an Erasmus staff grant is by participating in the UMA Staff Week, which is organised through our UMA International HUB Office.
Every year, we organise one or two professional training weeks (Erasmus+ International Staff Training Week). Unfortunately, the 2026 edition is already closed and no further editions will be organised this year.
However, the Interested Form for the 2027 edition is already open. Although the exact dates have not yet been confirmed, it is expected to take place between March and April 2027. We strongly encourage you to register in the button below, as those who complete this form will be the first to be contacted privately once the official call is launched.
For your information, our Staff Week offers a comprehensive professional and cultural programme. The participation fee is approximately €250, and payment instructions are sent to confirmed participants.
The participation fee includes, among other activities:
- UMA welcome pack and merchandising
- Daily buffet breakfast
- A hands-on Spanish cooking workshop
- A special lunch at Muelle 1 – Kaleido Restaurant, overlooking the harbour
- Entry to the Alcazaba and the Pompidou Museum
- A guided city tour
- A flamenco workshop
- An International Food Fair
- And many other cultural and social activities!
From Monday to Thursday, participants take part in informative and interactive sessions to learn about the services offered by the University of Málaga, such as the Library, Smart Campus, International Relations, Culture, Sports, and more. Participants also discover the city of Málaga and visit emblematic buildings such as the Presidents' Building and the City Hall.
Fridays are left free and can be used on an optional basis to arrange individual meetings with UMA departments or services. A full list of contacts is provided to facilitate these personalised meetings.
If, on the other hand, you are an academic, researcher or lecturer and you wish to visit the University of Málaga under a TEACHING MOBILITY, this must be arranged directly with the internationalisation coordinator of the relevant School or Faculty. It is your responsibility to contact the appropriate person in order to organise the teaching mobility grant.
You can find the list of internationalisation contacts for each centre in the button below!
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at internationalhub@uma.es.
