La profesora Dª. Cristina Belén Naranjo Rosa es Licencia en Ciencias del Mar por la Universidad de Málaga y defendió su tesis doctoral, "Drainage of deep Mediterranean Water, its transition through the Strait of Gibraltar: spatial and temporal variability", en 2015.
Forma parte del Instituto Universitario de Biotecnología y Desarrollo Azul (IBYDA).
