NEAMBP - The Neam Benchmarking Project

The NEAM Benchmarking Project (NEAMBP) arises from the need to fill the gap in tsunami model benchmarking of providing verification examples (field cases) in the NEAM region. Several candidate historical events are proposed, among them: Zakynthos, 25 October 2018, Lesvos, 12 June 2017, Bodrum-Kos, 20 July 2017, Crotone, 17 November 2015, Algeria 21 May 2003 (Bourmedès-Zemmouri), Gulf of Cadiz 1969.

What is NEAMBP?

NEAMBP is the North-Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Benchmarking Proyect. This proyect arises from the need to fill the gap in tsunami benchmarking in the NEAM region of field test cases well defined for tsunami models benchmarking purposes.
