BRIEF CURRICULUM:
She received the Master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Malaga, Málaga, Spain, in 2010. She joined the University of Malaga in 2011, where she is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in mechatronics, focusing on medical robotics. She spent a period as visiting researcher at the Biorobotics Institute at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in 2013. Her main research interests include robotic systems for minimally invasive surgery and cognitive strategies for medical robotics.
