Cloud Computation

As part of its technological infrastruture  CAITI also has a cloud computing platform. This offers a range of computing services to the various research groups.

Through cloud computing, the research groups have a wide range of resources available to them that can be used as and when they are needed. These resources include storage space, greater computing capacity, ram memory and Internet connectivity. It is possible for the researchers to set up virtual machines, configuring the characteristics they need so as to ensure they can be launched quickly and straightforwardly.

 

Each research group manages the resources in their own cloud, as well as the activities undertaken using it.
