The Vice-Rectorate for Mobility and International Cooperation held a welcome assembly for international students who will be studying at UMA for either one semester or the entire academic year. Out of the 1,413 students expected throughout the year, more than 700 attended.

These students come from 65 different nationalities, and the majority are from Italy (400). They are followed by students from Germany (206), France (168), Poland (145), and South Korea (77).

The welcome event was presided over by the Deputy Vice-Rector for International Mobility, Beatriz Blázquez, accompanied by the Head of Service, Ricardo del Milagro, and the administrative staff of the International Relations Office responsible for the mobility programs at the University of Malaga.

During the event, students were provided with essential information about the procedures to follow upon arriving at the university and the services available to them as part of the university community. In addition to the International Relations staff, members of the UMA International Hub, the Sports Service, and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) student association also participated.
