Lily is a lawyer in the Philippines, having passed the 2024 Philippine Bar Examinations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of the Philippines Diliman (2019) and a Juris Doctor degree, with Second Honors, from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law (2024). In 2025, she began her doctoral studies in law at the University of Málaga, Spain.
While at Ateneo Law School, Lily interned at three law firms in the Philippines, gaining practical experience across various areas of legal practice. She was also an active member of the Ateneo Society of International Law. In 2022, she participated as team administrator for the university’s delegation to the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition, where she contributed to the preparation of the team´s legal memorials. The team reached the semi-finals and ranked sixth in the World Quarter Final Rounds.
She is a PhD Candidate in Law at the Universidad de Málaga, within the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network funded by the European Union under the InnoGuard Project (2024–2028). Her research focuses on helping developers of artificial intelligence-enabled cyber-physical systems (CPS) navigate and comply with evolving legislative frameworks across the EU and its associated countries. She aims to develop a checklist generation framework to support legal compliance in CPS development.
