Gonzalo Joya Caparrós > Curriculum Vitae
Gonzalo Joya was born in Granada (Spain) in 1960. He obtained his degree in Physics from the University of Granada (Spain) and the Ph.D. from the University of Málaga (Spain). He is a Full Professor in the Department of Electronics Technology of the University of Málaga and Permanent Invited Professor at the University of Havana (from 2010) and the University of Holguin (2023). His main current field of interest include the foundations of Artificial Neural Networks and their application to the design of systems for recording and processing of biomedical signals, with special attention to electrooculographic records. He has published more than 30 articles in journals indexed at IJCR and more than 60 papers at international conferences. He is co-chair of the International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Network (IWANN) from 2009. He has published as a Co-editor ten books in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) Collection.
