The UMA and the UTFSM (Universidad Técnica Federico de Santa María) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in Tsunami Research.

The aim of this project is to promote the use of the numerical code Tsunami-HySEA, developed by EDANYA Group/UMA in the Chilean tsunami model community and, as final goal, to use this code in the Chilean Tsunami Early Warning System.
