Representatives from the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland, have visited the facilities and services of the University of Malaga for several days with the aim of getting to know the educational offerings of the Malaga institution and planning future collaboration projects.
The delegation was led by the rector of the Polish university, Andrzej Mastalerz. Also in attendance were the vice-rector of the branch of this center in the city of Biała Podlaska, Jerzy Sadowski, and the director of the Sports Chair, Tomasz Niznikowski. This university specializes in higher education in Physical Education since 1928.
During this visit, the Polish representatives were accompanied by Professor Oscar Romero from the Department of Language, Arts, and Sports Didactics, with whom they have been working on joint training projects, seminars, and student mentoring for several years.
They visited various services, including the Sports Department, where they were welcomed by the Deputy Vice-Rector for Sports, Emilio Fernández, and the International Relations Department, where the Vice-Rector for Mobility and International Cooperation, Susana Cabrera, provided the guests with information about Polish students studying at UMA. Furthermore, the Director of the UMA International HUB office, Mirian Seghiri, showed them the facilities, emphasizing the importance of internationalization.
The Polish representatives also shared information about the different bachelor's and master's programs offered by their university, including Tourism and Recreation, Sports Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Sports Management, Cosmetology, as well as postgraduate courses in Sports Journalism, Neurological Physiotherapy, Pediatric Physiotherapy, and Hippotherapy.
