A delegation from the ACQUIST project (Turkey) visits the International Relations Office of the University of Málaga.

The International Relations Office of the University of Málaga (UMA) has received an institutional visit from a delegation of faculty members from Turkey within the framework of the ACQUIST project (Project Number: 2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000236870), funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
The delegation was composed of Assist. Prof. Dr. Göksel Öztürk from Bursa Technical University (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Selmin Söylemez and Prof. Dr. Aslı Özlem Tarakcıoğlu from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University (Faculty of Letters).
During their stay, the visiting faculty members were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Mobility and International Projects at the University of Málaga, Mr. Enrique Nava, accompanied by the Erasmus+ KA131 Mobility Coordinator, Ms. Lilian Barranco. The meeting focused on various aspects related to international academic collaboration, while also reaffirming the mutual interest in strengthening and expanding institutional relations between the participating universities.
The visit provided an opportunity to exchange experiences regarding international mobility, curriculum internationalization, and cooperation in joint projects, within a context of growing openness towards partnerships beyond the European Higher Education Area.
As part of the institutional agenda, the Turkish faculty toured various UMA facilities, including a notable visit to the UMA International Hub, the university’s central unit for managing and promoting international initiatives.
This initiative reinforces the University of Málaga's commitment to strengthening its international outreach and its active participation in European projects that promote academic development, mobility, and intercultural understanding.
