Who can be part of the sports volunteer group?
Anyone of legal age, regardless of whether they are university students or not, can be a member of the sports volunteer group.
What is it like to be a sports volunteer?
Every year, the University Sports Service organises many activities, competitions and events related to sport, which involve a complex organisation. The work of volunteers is essential to carry out various basic functions for the correct development of these events, such as supporting the competition, contacting teams, translation and interpretation, registration support, protocol, etc.
As a volunteer, you will be insured during each activity, you will have your living expenses covered during the event, you will receive clothing and accreditation that identifies you, you will get a participation certificate at the end and in some activities you will be able to apply for the recognition of ECTS credits depending on the hours you have collaborated.
