Reappraising Intellectual Debates on Civic Rights and Democracy in Europe
Grant Period 4 (1 May 2020 – 14 September 2021)
COST Action 16211 Reappraising Intellectual Debates on Civic Rights and Democracy in Europe (RECAST) operates through a series of Networking Tools, being the Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSM) one of its mobility resources. They complement other forms of cooperation within the COST Action by supporting international mobility of Action members. They are “institutional visits aimed at supporting individual mobility, fostering collaboration between individuals.” (COST Vademecum, May 2020 edition, section 8)
For Grant Period 4, running from 1 May 2020 to 30 April 2021 (extended to 14 September 2021), the Management Committee agreed to allocate initially 9 000 euros to be distributed in three STSM grants of up to 3 000 euros each. This budget may further rise thanks to the reallocation of unspent funds from other networking tools.
As approved by the Management Committee's e-vote on 10 January 2020, applications will be collected each year in the periods: 15 January to 15 February, June and October.
