Welcome

The Department of Plant Biology is organized in two units or knowledge areas: Botany and Plant Physiology. It is devoted to teaching as well as active research and host 21 Professor and Researchers, 2 laboratory tecnitians and 1 administrative manager, together with a variable number of graduate students and Ph.D. candidates and postdoctoral researches. Our members are involved in three research groups recognized by Junta de Andalucía developing several research projects funded by local, state and international institutions.
