COSTASOLEANDO

The objective of this project is to design web applications, available for both Android and iOS devices that allow promoting and activating tourism in coastal areas. The starting point is the tourist potential of the beaches of a municipality, community or even Autonomous Community. Through the use of algorithms and artificial intelligence, the most suitable target beaches for activities such as nautical sports, swimming in open waters or just enjoying a sun-bath are identified, taking into account the existing weather conditions. In addition, the application can be equipped with tools that allow controlling the capacity of certain spaces and even provide booking and planning tools. Other data such as the probability of arrival of jellyfish, the formation of floating aggregates (creams) or the bursts of invasive algae species are other information also available to users.

This project aims to promote and activate tourism in coastal areas, provide comprehensive information for the enjoyment of the beach and all its surroundings (culture, gastronomy, leisure, etc.) and serve as a tool for better use and enjoyment of our beaches and nearby environment.
