19 NOV | VISIT TO CAMINITO DEL REY

The Caminito del Rey is one of the most famous hiking routes in Spain, and especially in Andalusia. It is an 8 km hiking route with some of the most breathtaking scenery that Andalusia has to offer. 

It is a completely safe route, but not recommended for people with fear of heights. The route has an estimated duration of 3-4 hours, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and sports shoes. Umbrellas are not allowed, so it is ideal to bring a waterproof jacket, we also recommend the use of sunscreen. The organisation will provide a safety helmet. 

The activity is free for the participants. However, each student is responsible for bringing their own food and drink, as the excursion will last approximately 8 hours in total. A lunch break will be provided halfway through the excursion. 

We encourage you to wear the UMA backpacks and T-shirts handed out during the welcome ceremony so that you can take pictures with them and participate in the photo contest “UMA with no borders”.
