Through the Vicerectorate for Social Affairs, the University of Malaga offers a wide range of services aimed at optimising the quality of life at UMA; this is achieved by managing benefits, implementing social programmes and services addressed to the whole university community with the aim of developing policies based on equal opportunities.


Our primary objective is to perform quality management, that is up to date and adapted to new technologies, effective, efficient and that satisfies the needs of all members of the university community and society as a whole.

The planning and management of the aforementioned services, as diverse as monitoring bars and canteens in UMA Centres and Schools, advising students seeking accommodation, financial support, or subsidies for the staff, managing Further Education courses, Partnerships, Car Sharing Programme, Volunteer Office, Disabled Student Support Service, Equality Unit, etc.
