Working Group 1: Practices

Objectives

Researching

➢ The civic practices regarding civic rights claims, exercise of rights, conflicts of rights.

➢ The democratic practices, in particular deliberative practices, of civic agents (individuals and groups), and their representations and ambivalent effects on democracy’s own growth and how they compare transnationally.

Task

Exploring the civic practices (institutional and non-institutional) in the conflicts of civic rights and democracy in Europe.
