In the academic field, in the year 2009/2010, the directorship of the Institute collaborated in the authorisation and implementation processes of the Degree in Criminology, taking part, two of its members, in the Academic Commission of the Faculty of Law that promoted this degree, thus allowing it to start its courses in the year 2010/2011.
