Criminology and Sports is a line of research, coordinated by María José Benitez Jiménez, that includes work on prevention and intervention in and with sports.
The Group of Studies on Criminology and Sports is concerned with analyzing antisocial and criminal behavior in the field of sports and is interested in seeking a prosocial resolution of conflicts in this area.
On the other hand, it promotes jobs that use sports activities as a mean of social readjustment. The cross-cutting nature of sports and the interdisciplinarity of criminology allow for a perfect series of factors capable of generating studies of a very diverse nature.
