VII Simposio de Jóvenes Filósofos y III Olimpiada de Filosofía
Las alumnas Adriana Viteri Recalde (de segundo de bachillerato del Colegio San José de Estepona) y Anna Timonet (de 2º de ESO del MIT School de Málaga) han resultado vencedoras en la III Olimpiada de Filosofía de la Universidad de Málaga. En un acto celebrado en una mesa de debate titulada La relación de la filosofía y la política, la filosofía hoy y la felicidad, la Vicedecana de Ordenación Académica, en nombre del señor Decano, les ha hecho entrega de sendas tabletas informáticas como premio de la III Olimpiada de Filosofía. Han participado en estas Olimpiadas unos 60 alumnos de toda la provincia de Málaga. Esta Olimpiada se enmarca dentro de las Propuestas de Actividades de Orientación Académica de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, teniendo como finalidad la divulgación de la Titulación de Filosofía de nuestra Universidad, y la orientación vocacional.
El acto ha tenido lugar en el seno del VII Simposio Jóvenes Filósofos de Málaga, que reúne anualmente a egresados en Filosofía por la Universidad de Málaga. En el simposio han tenido lugar tres mesas redondas. La ya referida con alumnos de secundaria, y los mesas más con egresados. La primera ha versado sobre Deber y finalidad en Kant y han participado don Rafael Reyna (actualmente doctorando en la Universidad de Navarra) y doña Sylvia Susana Rodríguez (actualmente doctoranda en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. La última Mesa de debate tenía como tema Ciencia, pseudociencia y filosofía y ha contado con los egresados y doctorandos de nuestra Universidad, don Lucas Risoto y don José Antonio Espinosa.
