Welcome to the UMA International Hub, the new internationalisation centre of the University of Malaga, part of the Vice-Rectorate for Mobility and International Cooperation.

The UMA International Hub is undoubtedly another step forward in the internationalisation strategy of the University of Malaga. Our aim is to enhance the experience of the participants of the various mobility programmes through a comprehensive and personalised support. This involves supporting administrative, academic or legal issues that may arise for people visiting the university, guidance on life on and off campus, accommodation, and help with visa management among others. We also create academic and cultural programmes such as the Erasmus+ International Staff Week, "Study Abroad" programmes, cultural visits of the city or workshops on Spanish culture. We also carry out support programmes, through the Buddy Program, aimed for students, teachers and researchers from other universities. In this way, the UMA community itself is directly involved in supporting incoming mobility.

But not only this, the UMA International Hub is also a pole for the creation of new internationalisation projects with strategic regions. This is done through our "Spaces", whose ultimate aim is to be a catalyst for academic, cultural and research projects with the regions they represent.  In this way, the UMA International Hub serves as a framework to centralise new internationalisation initiatives of the University of Malaga, with the aim of stimulating and making them as dynamic as possible.

We are at your disposal in this new journey for the internationalisation of the University of Malaga.

See you at the Hub!

Miriam Seghiri | Director of the UMA International Hub
