First-Year Evaluation [0-10]

  1. Proposed Research Plan. [0-7] (Its suitability for the program, specificity, level of detail and feasibility, relevance, degree of innovation, viability, credibility, and impact will be assessed). MUST BE UPLOADED TO THE DAD PLATFORM, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE TUTOR AND DIRECTOR(S).
  2. Scientific output to date (communications at conferences and scientific events, registration of the study protocol in an official registry, or submission to the corresponding Ethical Committee). [0-0.5]
  3. Attendance at conferences and national or international scientific meetings. [0-0.5]
  4. Completion of activities and training supplements. [0-1.5]. The doctoral student must carry out a minimum of 5 activities during the evaluation period, documented and uploaded to DAD and approved by their tutor.
  5. Any other activities or topics considered relevant. [0-0.5]

Second-year evaluation [0-10]

  1. Progress of the thesis described in the Research Plan. The doctoral student must demonstrate sufficient mastery of all aspects of the plan. [0-4]
  2. Scientific output to date: presentations at conferences and scientific events, registration of the study protocol in an official registry or submission to the corresponding IEC, manuscript submitted to a scientific journal, publication accepted in journals. [0-2]
  3. Stays completed, visits to other centers, attendance at conferences, meetings, etc. [0-2]
  4. Completion of activities and training supplements. [0-1] The doctoral student must carry out a minimum of 5 activities during the evaluation period, documented and uploaded to DAD.
  5. Competitive grants obtained as PI to fund your research [2]
  6. Draft manuscript prepared, not yet submitted to a journal (a finalized, complete version must be attached) [1]
  7. Any other activities or topics considered relevant. [0-1]

Evaluation of the third and subsequent years [0-10]

  1. Progress of the thesis with respect to the proposed Research Plan. The doctoral student must demonstrate sufficient mastery of all aspects of the plan. [0-1]
  2. Scientific output to date (communications at conferences and scientific events, manuscript submitted to a scientific journal, publication accepted in journals, proofs of concept, utility models, or patents submitted for evaluation, or approved). [0-5]
  3. Stays completed, visits to other centers, attendance at conferences, meetings, etc. [0-3]
  4. Competitive grants obtained as PI to fund your research [2]
  5. Draft manuscript completed, not yet submitted to a journal (a finalized version must be attached) [1]
  6. Completion of activities and training supplements. [0-0.5] The doctoral student must carry out a minimum of 5 activities during the evaluation period, documented and uploaded to DAD. In this phase of the thesis development, the publication of the results of the research carried out in the thesis in a journal with a JCR impact factor (SCI or SSCI) or proof that it has been submitted to a publisher and is under review will be counted as an activity and is equivalent to the 5 activities.
  7. Any other activity or topic considered relevant. [0-0.5]
