GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Student Eligibility Requirements
◀ You must be at least 16 years of age.
◀ You must be enrolled in a COURSE or ACADEMIC PROGRAM at the University of Malaga.
In order to confirm he reservation, students have to send the following documentation:
◀ The bank receipt of the payment
◀ Reservation document
◀ Copy of their DNI, Passport, NIE (foreigner's identification number).
The prices charged for the accommodation will be those that the student has indicated on his/her reservation document in accordance with the attached table of rates.
The price of the accommodation includes:
◀ Electricity and water
◀ WiFi in the accommodation
◀ Cleaning service (once a week)
◀ Set of sheets (Apartments and Student Residence hall )
◀ Chosen Meal Plan applicable to host family and student residence hall option
No services other than those listed are included.
The number of places is limited; therefore, a previous reservation must be made. To reserve a place, the student must pay by bank transfer the total amount of the accommodation according to the chosen rate.
5. Security Deposit
Upon signing the contract, the student must pay a deposit of €150, which is a guarantee against any improper use, malfunction or infraction of the accommodation rules. This deposit will be returned once it has been verified that the terms of the contract have been respected and the facilities and equipment used are in good condition.
6. First Month’s Rent Deposit
The first month’s rent for accommodation will be charged in accordance with the chosen rate, and will be considered a deposit. It will be counted as income accrued for daily, weekly or monthly accommodation based on the rate chosen by the student upon the dissolution of the contract. This deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances in case of early cancellation of the contract.
If the contract should be voluntarily terminated by the student, payment of the remaining balance is obligatory. In the case of force majeure, the causes must be documented by the company .
8. Arrival (only for Apartments and Residences)
◀ Check in is form 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
◀ The accommodation will be available from 11:00 a.m.
◀ If the arrival occurs before 11:00 a.m. or between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., SRM staff must be informed in advance.
◀ Arrivals between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. will incur a fee of € 50.
◀ From midnight you will be charged an extra cost of €10 per hour.
9. Departure (only for Apartments and Residences)
Departures can be made until 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure. If not, you must inform at the time of booking.
10. Loss and damage
◀ Significant damage to facilities that exceed the cost of the deposit (€150) may incur an additional charge of €50.
◀ The loss of keys will cost €25 per copy.
◀ Locksmith assistance will cost €60 in working hours (from 9:00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.) and €100 outside the business hours that must be settled by the student.
The accommodations have the corresponding liability insurance. The company won’t have any liability for damage, loss or injury of any student or his or her personal possessions attributable to negligence or bad faith.
