INCOMING STAFF: Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training programme (STT) - International Staff Training Week

 

Are you an academic or administrative staff member at a European higher education institution and would like to take part in a training mobility at the University of Málaga?

The Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training under the Erasmus+ KA103/KA131 project offers staff members of European universities the opportunity to acquire professional and intercultural experience abroad, getting to know different higher education systems, sharing knowledge and networking with international teaching and administrative staff members, thus contributing to the international integration process.

The University of Málaga hosts an International Staff Training Week every year in May in order to welcome participants of this type of mobility. The Training Week is aimed towards members of staff who work within university management, colleagues who work in international offices, or coordinate or administer study abroad or exchange programmes.

 

Organized by UMA International Hub, as part of the Vice-Rectorate for International Mobility and Cooperation. During the week, participants attend talks and workshops given by UMA staff members in order to learn about the services offered at UMA, to discuss university management issues in specific training sessions, and to share experiences and good practices. Additional events include a guided city tour and other activities to get to know Andalusian culture.

 

● Eligible participants:

We will consider applications from staff working at any European higher education institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education and from staff working at one of our Erasmus+ partner institutions across the globe.

● Application procedure:

At your home institution: contact your International Relations Office to find out about available spots and grants.

You need to apply for the training mobility placement with your home institution. You will need a) Mobility Agreement for Training signed by the home and host institution and yourself b) Application for Erasmus+ funding at your sending institution.

● Costs and Funding:

The programme is free for Erasmus+ and International Exchange partners. Participants are expected to cover their accommodation and travel expenses with the Erasmus+ grant provided by their home institution.
