Project description | Promoting healthy ageing, and specifically a healthy and active lifestyle, is one of the greatest social and economic challenges facing the EU. A paradigm shift from tackling health problems based on disease treatment to disease prevention and improving quality of life through the promotion of appropriate habits is essential, as traditional strategies have proven to be insufficient to solve this complex problem. The aim of the COP4HL project is to design and implement a multi-sectoral approach to develop innovative products and services that promote healthy lifestyles in different settings across the EU. To this end, it promotes the creation of a network of communities of practice that share experiences and knowledge, and in which various public and private institutions at local and international level join forces. The design, methodology and main results of this innovative Erasmus + / Knowledge Alliance project (2017-2020) will be presented. |
