Project description

HEROES aims to create an innovative pedagogical pathway, shared at EU level, based on a participatory approach to Cultural Heritage, which encourages intercultural dialogue between teachers and students and fosters students' critical thinking, self-empowerment and civic awareness as a means for their personal and social growth. This approach will be realised through the finalisation of the HEROES Model: an original educational method focused on Cultural Heritage education.

It will fruitfully add to traditional school teaching a fresher and more interactive approach to Heritage based on peer-to-peer relationships and will also enhance interactions between formal and non-formal education in a Lifelong Learning perspective. This model will be the central outcome of the whole project.
