WHAT IS SIELE?
SIELE is the Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española which certifies electronically the command of the Spanish language proficiency for students and professionals.
SIELE is a multi-level exam in which each task in each test presents a different degree of difficulty, which allows for the candidate to be placed in their proficiency level, from level A1 to level C1 according to the CEFR.
We offer an assessment that enables registration and admission to international programs taught in Spanish-speaking countries.
We accredit an access level to graduate and postgraduate programs in non-Spanish speaking countries.
Registration is online at siele.org/reservas. Candidates can choose the modality, the place and date of the exam. After completing the exam, candidates will obtain the certificate or report from the website itself within a maximum period of three weeks.
THE EXAM
The SIELE exam is modular. Candidates can take the full exam or test modalities. There are six exam modalities:
> SIELE Global
This is the most comprehensive exam to certify your proficiency in Spanish.
Reading Comprehesion, Listening Comprehesion, Written Expression and Interaction and Spoken Expression and Interaction.
> SIELE 1
Reading Comprehesion + Listening Comprehesion
> SIELE 2
Reading Comprehesion + Written Expression and Interaction
> SIELE 3
Linstening Comprehesion + Spoken Expression and Interaction
> SIELE 4
Spoken Expression and Interaction
> SIELE 5
Written Expression and Interaction + Spoken Expression and Interaction
The SIELE Global, or any of the five modalities, allows you to obtain an internationally recognised certificate or report which is valid for five years. Your score in the test(s) is associated with the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
