TÍTULO: Artificial intelligence and law: problemas, and solutions?

RESUMEN: Over the last decades, digital technologies became part of the daily lives of all Europeans. A wide, fast evolving family of technologies called often Artificial Intelligence (AI) can bring an array of economic and societal benefits, however, it eventually may also be detrimental to European values and fundamental rights. The law struggles to keep up with the changing reality and is also developing – from merely looking at AI as a kind of intellectual property object to recognizing other key aspects of AI development, like skills, infrastructure, and data. The purpose of the lecture is to bring closer contemporary problems of law with relation to new technologies, in particular to computer programs and AI.
