Contemporary Literatures within the European Scope (LITCAE) This Research Group from the Department of English, French and German Philology (HUM-858), funded in 2007, is focused on the study and analysis of contemporary literary texts (mainly narrative in English), and their relationship with European literatures. Among the reasearch lines of the group are literary theory and criticism, current interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary literatures and the role of memory and the past in recent literature.
