About Us

The Department of English, French and German Philology is comprised by almost 60 lecturers, plus the grantees and Honorary Assisstant Professors who participate in the many activities of our Department. All of them are grouped within our three different research areas (English, French and German) and impart classes in several centres at University of Málaga: the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Tourism, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Commerce and Management, the Faculty of Law, the Higher School of Industrial Engineering and the Higher Technical School of Architecture.

The Department of English, French and German Philology includes lecturers and researchers of renowned standing, who possess remarkable academic and professional careers. Alongside our newly incorporated teachers and researchers, the Department has the aim of generating new knowledge that expands and enriches our study fields.

Our Department collaborates with several research groups from other centres and Universities both in Spain and abroad, allowing us to share and disseminate the different perspectives and findings of our researchers.
