updated Fri, 01 Oct 2010 07:22:24 GMTsummary La Oficina de Transferencia de Resultados de Investigación (OTRI) de la Universidad de Málaga ha sido una de las 25 entidades seleccionadas por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación para iniciar un Plan Estratégico de Transferencia (PETRA). Esta ayuda pública destinada a fortalecer y consolidar a las OTRIs fue convocada el pasado mes de Marzo por el Subprograma de Apoyo a la Función Trasferencia en Centros de Investigación (INNCIDE) del Plan INNOVACCIÓN 2010. El proyecto malagueño titulado ‘Plan Estratégico de Transferencia de la Universidad de Málaga 2010’ tendrá una duración máxima de 4 años y, entre sus objetivos se encuentran una serie de funciones que potenciarán la participación de los investigadores en determinadas convocatorias y contratos, la valorización de las patentes y de la infraestructura científica. Uno de estos objetivos comprende la elaboración de un catálogo de la infraestructura científica y de las capacidades científico-tecnológicas existentes. Con esta medida se pretende reforzar e incrementar la productividad de determinados laboratorios y grupos de investigación. Asimismo, para incentivar la participación de los investigadores en convocatorias europeas e internacionales, se realizarán talleres formativos sobre los programas europeos existentes, haciendo especial hincapié en el Programa Marco. Además se promoverá la movilidad internacional de los investigadores con el objetivo de crear redes científico-tecnológicas. A su vez, la OTRI andaluza impulsará la creación de gestores de I+D+i y el seguimiento activo de la producción científica dentro del ámbito de la biotecnología y de las tecnologías de la comunicación y la información (TIC). Con esta acción se pretende evaluar la relevancia de los trabajos científicos como fuente de resultados susceptibles de su valorización y transferencia. Para fomentar la divulgación y promoción en estos sectores se elaborará material promocional específico que se trasladará y difundirá entre las correspondientes empresas. Otro punto a tratar por la Universidad de Málaga será el fomento de la protección de resultados de investigación, en este sentido la OTRI malagueña realizará una valorización, promoción y difusión de las patentes disponibles. Además, para incentivar la transferencia y fomentar las colaboraciones universidad-empresa, la OTRI se plantea analizar los proyectos de I+D+i que cumplan con los requisitos para ser certificables por la norma UNE 166001:2006.

Perfil de la empresa: Empresa con ámbito de actuación internacional, fundamentalmente Mar del Norte y Golfo de México, que realiza sus actuaciones en el sector metalmecánico. Su actividad se centra en la construcción de estructuras Offshore para la industria del Gas y Petróleo: fijas, flotantes y barcos tipo FPSO. También construcción Onshore, aunque menos importante, igualmente para la industria del Gas y Petróleo. Objeto del proyecto: Diseño y desarrollo de una estructura móvil de protección radiológica (bunker) para el radiografiado de tuberías de acero (rayos X y gammagrafía). Este bunker debe ser portátil, de aproximadamente 8 x 4 x 2.5 metros y ubicarse en zonas muy próximas (2 metros) a los talleres donde se esté trabajando construyendo dicha tubería. De preferencia con el techo desmontable. Deberá disponer de mecanismos que automaticen el proceso de entrada y salida de tubos al bunker, e incluso el proceso de ejecución de la propia radiografía. Demanda tecnológica: Se buscan grupos de investigación con experiencia previa en el diseño de instalaciones de protección radiológica y que hayan trabajado con Unidades Técnicas de Protección Radiológica. Las actividades de desarrollo que se prevén necesarias abarcan 2 áreas diferenciadas: Nuevos materiales de protección radiológica que reduzcan el peso de la estructura respecto a estructuras de hormigón baritado y plomo. Perfil de la empresa: Empresa de la rama de la construcción con sector principal en España y que cuenta con empresas participadas en Rumania dedicadas a la construcción de obra civil y edificación. Aunque su actividad se centra en la obra civil en los últimos años ha diversificado su actividad a otros sectores como el industrial. Desde 2006 posee un departamento de I+D+I, que ha potenciado desarrollar proyectos en campos tan diversos como la optimización de traviesas, desarrollo de hormigones aditivazos con PP, cultivo hidropónico en Geotextiles, etc. Objeto del proyecto: Estudio del comportamiento del hormigón armado en cuanto a la durabilidad en ambientes agresivos de clasificación general de exposición relativa a la corrosión de armaduras (en particular exposición marina aérea), utilizando armaduras de fibra de vidrio, y específicas de exposición relativas a otros procesos de deterioros distintos de la corrosión (en particular por ataque químico), utilizando fibras de polipropileno en el amasado del hormigón. Demanda tecnológica: El grupo de investigación deberá ser capaz de realizar probetas y ensayos en las condiciones ambientales necesarias de exposición general y específica descritas anteriormente, implementar programas de simulación de comportamiento de materiales y contar con un laboratorio de ensayos de rotura de probetas de hormigón. Este evento bianual, organizado por la Asociación Española de Bioempresas (ASEBIO) y la Sociedad de Desarrollo de Navarra (SODENA), tiene el objetivo de impulsar el conocimiento de la biotecnología en España. Las cifras de BioSpain 2010 han batido todos los récords de ediciones anteriores, hasta el punto de convertirse en el evento biotecnológico más importante del sur de Europa con un total de 160 empresas (38 extranjeras) en 132 stands. Este congreso, pionero en la introducción en España del sistema de partnering o de encuentros bilaterales entre compañías ha potenciado alrededor de 2000 encuentros empresariales entre cerca de 600 empresas y organismos. La OTRI de la Universidad de Málaga ha estado presente en el stand de la Red OTRI Andalucía y aprovechando este evento se promocionaron las capacidades de los grupos que investigan en el sector biotecnológico. A su vez, se participó en varios encuentros bilaterales presentando las ofertas biotecnológicas a empresas interesadas. La ministra de Ciencia e Innovación, Cristina Garmendia, en su visita al BioSpain 2010 ha afirmado que el sector de la biotecnología, junto a otros sectores como el de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones, están “llamados a ser sectores centrales en nuestra recuperación económica, las cifras lo avalan”.

Cobertura de los gastos de desplazamiento, manutención y alojamiento para la asistencia del monitor a eventos, reuniones o actividades que autorice como necesarios la Coordinación del Plan (se estima una media de un viaje al mes dentro de la Comunidad Autónoma con una noche de pernoctación). Quinta. CARÁCTER DE LA FORMACIÓN 1. El monitor estará adscrito a la Oficina de Transferencia de Resultados de Investigación (OTRI) de la Universidad de Málaga para desarrollar su Plan de Formación y le será nombrado un tutor/a por la Comisión de Selección. 2. El desarrollo formativo que establece esta convocatoria no supondrá ningún tipo de vinculación laboral o administrativa entre el monitor de divulgación y la Universidad de Málaga, ni implicará compromiso alguno por parte de dichos organismos. 3. Las renuncias deberán dirigirse a la OTRI de la Universidad de Málaga. La Universidad podrá autorizar la interrupción de las actividades de formación a petición razonada del beneficiario, previos los informes que procedan. Sexta. CONDICIONES DE DISFRUTE 1. El disfrute de este Programa de Formación comenzará al incorporarse el beneficiario al Centro dentro del plazo que se señale en la Resolución de adjudicación. Séptima. SOLICITUDES Y DOCUMENTOS A PRESENTAR 1. El plazo de presentación de solicitudes finalizará el día 15 de Enero de 2011. 2. La Solicitud se realizará mediante instancia aportando la documentación que aparece en el punto 4 de este apartado. 3. La solicitud deberá presentarse obligatoriamente: a) En el Registro General de la Universidad de Málaga (Abierto a partir del 7 de Enero de 2011), o b) En cualquiera de los lugares previstos en la Ley 30/92, de 26 de Noviembre, modificada por la Ley 4/1.999, de Régimen Jurídico de las Administraciones Públicas y del Procedimiento Administrativo Común, dirigida al Excmo. Sr. Vicerrector de Investigación de la Universidad de Málaga, Campus El Ejido s/n (Edificio del Pabellón de Gobierno). Para los solicitantes que opten por la presentación de su solicitud en la forma prevista en el art. 38 de la Ley 30/92, será requisito imprescindible el envío de dicha solicitud junto con la documentación pertinente a la Universidad de Málaga (OTRI), mediante FAX (nº 952 131 021) el mismo día de presentación. Además deberá enviarse a la dirección de correo electrónico: otri@uma.es especificando en el asunto "Solicitud monitor de divulgación UMA". 4. Las solicitudes adjuntarán la siguiente documentación: a) Fotocopia del Documento Nacional de Identidad, o documento equivalente para los ciudadanos/as de la Unión Europea, o tarjeta de residente del/la solicitante en caso de personas naturales de terceros países. b) Fotocopia del título correspondiente. c) Certificación Académica Oficial, en original o fotocopia, en la que figuren de forma detallada las calificaciones obtenidas, fechas de las mismas, la media de las calificaciones académicas y constancia expresa de que las materias constituyen el programa completo de la titulación correspondiente, así como la fecha de obtención de la titulación. d) CV de la persona solicitante, en el que se detallará la formación recibida y la experiencia en el campo de la comunicación y divulgación científica, acompañado de las correspondientes certificaciones. Octava. SELECCIÓN Y VALORACIÓN DE SOLICITUDES 1. Para esta convocatoria la Universidad de Málaga nombrará una Comisión de Selección con el concurso de la coordinación del Plan de Divulgación. 2. La resolución de esta convocatoria se publicará en la página web http://www.otri.uma.es, así como a través de Internet en las siguientes direcciones: http://www.andaluciainvestiga.com ó http://www.citandalucia.com. La Comisión de Selección tendrá en cuenta, para la evaluación de las distintas solicitudes, los siguientes apartados: a) Expediente académico: máximo 4 puntos. b) Experiencia en el desarrollo de labores de comunicación y divulgación científicas: máximo 4 puntos. c) Cursos reglados relacionados con el objeto del Programa de Formación: máximo 2 puntos. La valoración se efectuará tomando en consideración la duración de los cursos. d) Cursos de doctorado: máximo 1 punto. La valoración se efectuará tomando en consideración el número de créditos obtenidos por el/la aspirante. e) Por una segunda titulación: máximo 1 punto. A requerimiento de la Comisión de Selección, los aspirantes podrán ser convocados a: a) Una prueba escrita, en la que se evaluará la capacidad del aspirante para el desarrollo de su trabajo (2 puntos). b) Una entrevista personal que podrá valorarse (max. 3 puntos). 3. Para asignar a los/as aspirantes se considerará la puntuación obtenida por cada uno de ellos/as en la baremación realizada por la Comisión de Selección. 4. A los/as solicitantes que acrediten más del 33% de minusvalía, se les multiplicará su expediente académico por 1,4. 5. La relación de candidatos seleccionados en esta Convocatoria será elevada al Excma. Sra. Rectora para su aprobación. La relación de candidatos se hará pública en el Tablón de Anuncios del Vicerrectorado de Investigación, que servirá de notificación a los participantes del concurso. El concurso podrá resolverse con la no adjudicación de las becas cuando a juicio de la Comisión Evaluadora, los currículos de los aspirantes no se ajusten a los requisitos determinados en esta Convocatoria. En caso de que se produzcan renuncias o bajas entre los seleccionados, se podrán cubrir las vacantes con aquellos candidatos que hayan quedado finalistas de acuerdo con el orden de puntuación que hayan obtenido. Novena. OBLIGACIONES DE LOS MONITORES 1. El/la monitor/a se incorporará a la OTRI de la Universidad de Málaga una vez terminados los trámites de selección. 2. El/la monitor/a está obligado a realizar la práctica formativa en la OTRI de la Universidad de Málaga siendo necesario para cualquier cambio de Centro, ausencia temporal o renuncia por parte de aquél, solicitar la previa autorización de la coordinación. 3. Una vez finalizado el período de formación, deberá presentar ante la coordinación del Plan un informe del trabajo desarrollado con el visto bueno del/la tutor/a que le haya sido asignado/a. Igualmente justificará mediante declaración jurada que ha cumplido los requisitos y condiciones que determinan la concesión y disfrute de estas ayudas. 4. Los/as beneficiarios/as se comprometen a cumplir el régimen de formación y colaboración establecido por la Universidad de Málaga. 5. La no observancia de estas normas supondrá la anulación y revocación de la ayuda concedida.
