University of South Florida (USF)

The University of South Florida (USF), located in the city of Tampa (Florida, USA), is one of the largest public universities in North America. It currently has a major impact on academic research globally.

University Ana G. Méndez (UAGM)

It is a private, non-profit higher education institution that has made a genuine commitment to the economic and social development of Puerto Rico. Its mission is to provide a diverse student population with opportunities to acquire personal and professional skills through education, research and community service, so that they become agents of change, lifelong learners and responsible partners in globalization and global sustainability. 

National University of Misiones (UNaM)

The National University of Misiones (UNaM) is an Argentine public university located in the city of Posadas (Misiones, Argentina). One of its objectives is to foster regionally owned integration processes and internationalization, taking part in initiatives that favor the region and world’s development.

University of Dresden (TUD)

Located in Saxony (Germany), the Technical University of Dresden (TUD) is the largest Technical University in the country. With about 37,000 students, TUD is part of the eleven German universities identified with "Excellence University".

University of Lisbon (UL)

The University of Lisbon (UL) is one of the main universities in Portugal and one of the oldest in Europe, founded in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, in 1911. It is a public university that receives some 6,900 international students, about 14.5% of the total number of students, from more than 100 different countries.

National University of Itapúa (UNI)

The National University of Itapúa (UNI) is an institution of public law and autonomous management with legal status, born in 1996. It has seven faculties, in addition to the Graduate School. Its main lines of research are linked to the areas of health, agriculture, livestock, legal sciences, economics, food technology, water, energy, education and development, biodiesel, concrete, hydraulics and electronics.

Autonomous University of Encarnación (UNAE)

The Autonomous University of Encarnación is a private university institution founded in 2008 that offers quality higher education, safeguarding the rights of the individual and the community, within the requirements of truth and the common good. 

Salvador University (USAL)

The Salvador University (USAL) is a private institution of higher education founded by the Society of Jesus, guided by a humanistic an Christian conception that favors the training of caring people who are open to dialogue between science and faith. More than 30,000 people are currently studying at USAL undergraduate or postgraduate studies, with approximately 2,400 studentes from different countries. 

University of Central Florida (UCF)

International Campus of Excellence (CEI) Andalucía Tech

The CEI Andalucía TECH arises from the union between the University of Málaga (UMA) and the University of Seville (US). Through the Educational and Research Poles of Excellence, it promotes innovation, internationalization, talent attraction and sustainability.

General Foundation of the University of Málaga

The General Foundation of the University of Málaga (FGUMA) aims to promote and disseminate activities related to science, technology, art and humanities. It carries out training, research, dissemination, internationalisation and development cooperation activities, especially linked to Latin America. 

Franklin Institute of the University of Alcalá de Henares

The Franklin Institute of the University of Alcalá is the first University Institute of North American Research in Spain. Founded in 1987, its focuses on research and postgraduate education related to North American Studies and Bilingual Education through projects, scholarships and research support, and its dissemination in own publications and scientific events.

Centro Interuniversitario de Desarrollo (CINDA)

CINDA is a network of Ibero-American universities established as a non-profit organization, whose purpose is to promote links between higher education entities, to generate and disseminate knowledge, and to contribute to the development of education policies and university management.

 

ACADEMIC JOURNALS 

Surco Sur

Academic journal linked to the University of South Florida (USA), responsible for the dissemination of the artistic and literary work of Hispanic American authors, residing in or outside their own countries. Its profile is focused on defending the culture of Latin American peoples, principally in the United States, where their influence and extension is increasing.

Infoamérica 

Infoamérica (Iberoamerican Communication Review) is an academic journal that was born in 2002, guided to the study of communication and the media in the Ibero-American scenario. Directed by Professor Bernardo Díaz Nosty, it is currently associated with the UNESCO Chair in Communication of the University of Málaga.

Cruce

Journal about social critics linked to the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Communications of the Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico (UMET). It contains text, photography and audiovisual documents about and from the contemporary.

Monograma

Monograma. Revista Iberoamericana de Cultura y Pensamiento is a journal composed of articles about different topics: Literature, Philosophy, Arts, Visual culture and theatrical creation in Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking areas.

Çédille, journal of french studies

It is an electronic publication, promoted by the Association of French Speakers of the Spanish University (AFUE), with the aim of providing a free means of disseminating and discussing the research work of all those interested in or devoted to French and French-speaking studies.

Amérique Latine Histoire et Mémoire

Journal published by the team Amérique Latine Histoire et Mémoire from the Paris-VIII University and the ALHIM Association (Law of 1901), Les Cahiers ALHIM. The journal is devoted to the study of different themes of interest for Latin America (migrations, identities, education, religion, politics) with a historiographical approach that takes account of the memory-history bonimial. 

En la otra isla. Revista de audiovisual latinoamericano

Journal of the Group of Studies on Latin-American Contemporary Cinema (Grupo de Estudios de Cine Latinoamericano Contemporáneo), based in the Instituto de Artes del Espectáculo (School of Philosophy and Humanities, University of Buenos Aires). The group was founded in 2019 for the purpose of disseminating academic research on Latin-American audiovisual production. 

Ánfora Nova

Literary journal based in Córdoba (Spain) and founded in 1989 with international commitment and activity. Ánfora Nova is one of the most prestigious Latin-American literary journals, winner of numerous awards and prizes.

Revista Intercultural Dos Orillas

Transnational journal founded and directed by the writer Paloma Fernández Gomá, whose main goal is to strengthen cultural, social, and historical links between Morocco and Spain from the Hispanism, literature, essays, and visual arts.

Cuadernos.info

Cuadernos.Info is a scientific journal that publishes research on mediated communication in Ibero-America. It seeks to disseminate theories, empirical evidence and methodological developments regarding media, professional practices, audiences, institutions, technologies, and the effects of communication on the social, political, economic and cultural spheres. It covers journalism, institutional and audio-visual communication, multimedia and advertising.

México y la Cuenca del Pacífico

Mexico and the Pacific Rim (MyCP) is an academic journal, published by the University of Guadalajara, which aims to contribute to research, from a multidisciplinary perspective, on the society, culture, economy, environment and politics of the Asia-Pacific economies, as well as of regional integration processes.

Archivos del Presente

The journal Archivos del Presente is published by the Fundación Foro del Sur and directed by the prominent sociologist Aníbal Lozami. It has been published continuously since 1995 and in recent years it has positioned itself as one of the main national journals on issues related to Argentine and world foreign policy.

Latinoamérica. Revista de Estudios Latinoamericanos  

A biannual journal that publishes original research papers on issues related to Latin America and the Caribbean. This journal published by the Research Centre on Latin America and the Caribbean of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, is particularly interested in works on history, philosophy and the history of ideas, cultural studies, literature and essays, social problems and Latin American integration.

Journal of Iberian and Latin American Studies  

A quarterly journal in English that publishes research in the areas of early modern, modern and contemporary history and cultures of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America.

Revista de Relaciones Internacionales de la UNAM

The journal Revista de Relaciones Internacionales de la UNAM deals with international issues such as international politics, Mexican foreign policy, regional studies, international law, international cooperation, human development, international economics and foreign trade, among others.  In its 138 issues and more than 45 years of existence it has brought together academics from various national and foreign institutions, making it one of the publications with the longest tradition in Latin America in the discipline of International Relations. The journal is an important tool in the professional development of internationalists.

Estudios Latinoamericanos

In 1986, the journal Estudios Latinoamericanos began publication at the Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos (CELA). Historically, the journal has been a meeting place for academics attached to CELA, as well as for professors and researchers from the Faculty and from different UNAM research centres, and also for collaborators from national and foreign universities. The origin of all of them, together with the discipline and focus with which they approach their work, is what gives each issue of the journal a high academic rigor. In addition to being an organ of dissemination of the research of the Centre and other academic institutions, the journal is a space open to postgraduate students and a necessary source of information for students of different degrees, and scholars interested in Latin American issues.

Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies

Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies is an international peer-reviewed journal in the humanities that interrogates cultural production and cultural practices in or related to the nations comprised by the Spanish state. It promotes innovative theoretical and critical work at a high intellectual level that fills existing gaps in scholarship or rethinks the cultural meanings of previously studied material. Work is encouraged that addresses Spain's cultural diversity or its relationship to broader geo-political scenarios (Iberian Peninsula, Mediterranean, Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia etc.).

Futuro en Español 

Futuro en Español is a business forum that shows business opportunities in the Spanish-speaking world, cultural exchange and the possibilities of emerging economies, in this sense. Its aim is to foster relationships between institutions and companies in Spain and Latin America, thanks to the alliance between Vocento, CAF Development Bank of Latin America and other Latin American means.

Fundación Consejo España – EEUU

The Fundación Consejo España – EEUU is an initiative composed of large corporations, cultural and academic institutions, members of the administration and representatives of political parties, created to foster existing links between society and Spanish and US institutions, allowing a better mutual understanding and generating new and profitable projects in all these areas. 

Casa América 

Casa América is a public consortium whose aim is to strengthen bonds between Spain and the American continent, especially with Latin America. Seminars, conferences, round tables, exhibitions, film screenings, concerts, discussions, book presentations, etc. are organized with the aim of promoting an adequate climate to talk about American issues and to make known the different realities of that continent in Spain.

Spanish Geographical Society

The Spanish Geographical Society is a non-profit organization whose aim is to recover the history of Spanish exploration and discovery in the world; to expand the geographic and social knowledge of the peoples; and to promote travelling projects that serve the investigation. It is a meeting forum for all institutions and people interested in geography, travel and exploration.

The Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library

The Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library began between 1998 and 1999 as a virtual collection of classic works in Hispanic languages with a library like arrangement and search system and free access from anywhere in the world through the Internet. The project has consolidated itself as an indisputable reference space for culture in Spanish and as an open, universal and integrating project.

Vargas Llosa Chair

The Vargas Llosa Chair is an initiative of the Miguel de Cervantes Virtual Library Foundation with universities, companies and cultural and educational institutions in Spain, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, USA, France and Sweden. Among its main objectives are the study of contemporary literature, the support of new Ibero-American literary creation and the dissemination of the work of Mario Vargas Llosa (Nobel Prize for Literature 2010).

Initiative Puerto Rico Spain

Independent association constituted by a group of young entrepreneurs and professionals of recognized prestige from the civil society who see the need to strengthen the common bonds, fruit of more than 500 years of shared culture and history, between Puerto Rico and Spain. It aims to make known the socio-cultural, political and economic reality of Puerto Rico in Spain, and vice versa, as well as to contribute to the implementation of initiatives that benefit both communities

Spanish Research Society in Ireland

The Spanish Research Society in Ireland (SRSI) is a non-profit organization that brings together Spanish researchers from different disciplines in Ireland, facilitating networking and providing the resources and tools necessary to develop scientific activities.

Ibero-American Teacher Network (RID)

The Ibero-American Teacher Network (IADN) is an educational community that aims to support the work of teaching professionals of all levels and modalities.

Centro Estratégico Latinoamericano de Geopolítica (CELAG)

The Latin American Strategic Centre for Geopolitics (CELAG) is an institution dedicated to the research, study and analysis of the political, economic and social phenomena of Latin America, whose objective is to elaborate knowledge and instruments for decision makers of public policies, electoral strategies or social actions.

Latinobarómetro

Latinobarómetro is a public opinion survey that applies annually about 20,000 interviews in 18 Latin American countries representing more than 600 million people. Corporación Latinobarómetro is a non-profit NGO, based in Santiago, Chile, that researches the development of democracy, the economy and society as a whole, using public opinion indicators that measure attitudes, values and behavior.

Arecibo Observatory

The Arecibo Observatory is a facility of the National Science Foundation operated under cooperative agreement by the University of Central Florida. AO is a world-leading radio astronomy, solar system radar and atmospheric physics facility, contributing highly relevant data to support discovery, innovation and the advancement of science for the well-being of human kind. 

Fundación Francisco Ayala

The Fundación Francisco Ayala guard the creative, intellectual, and material legacy of Spanish writer Francisco Ayala and promote his work's research and dissemination.

Casa Mediterráneo

It is a public consortium composed of different national and international public entities whose primary goal is to promote a rapprochement between Spain and the rest of the Mediterranean countries on culture, economy, climate change, etc.
