Medicine is one of the oldest known professions. As a future medical professional you are required to have basic knowledge of sciences, biological functions, the human body and its functioning, as well as various physical and mental diseases. A crucial aspect of this programme is to gain clinical experience through internships in hospitals, always under the supervision of professionals.

This discipline covers the following objectives and competences: To acquire professional values, attitudes, and ethical behaviours as well as clinical and communication skills. Knowledge of Medicine's scientific founding, Public Health, and Health systems. Information handling,critical analysis, and initiation in research.
