The head of the María Zambrano Center for Transatlantic Studies and editor of TSN (Transatlantic Studies Network) Magazine of International Studies Juan Antonio García Galindo has just finished his academic exchange along with the National University of Misiones and the University Gastón Dachary, both of them located in Argentina. The main objective of this Exchange is to strengthen the Center’s communication networks.

Thus, García Galindo participated in several seminaries about Communication in border contexts, related with the Project Territorialidades transfronterizas. Comunicación y Educación Superior en la sociedad de la información. This Project, organized by this two Argentinian universities and the University of Malaga, was conceived by the International Relationships Office of the Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty of the National University of Misiones (FHyCS) and coordinated by professors Diana Arellando and Marisa Silva.

The main objective of the seminary was to think over the different methods of analysis of the reality that define the information society as well as the communication global processes lost in border areas, according to the academic institutions. Various Argeninian media talked about Dr. García Galindo’s visit such as UNam Transmedia Informa and ComHum’s audiovisual programmes. They highlighted the significance of supporting the international studies with transatlantic character and the role that the María Zambrano Center for Transatlantic Studies plays as a key to favor and enhance ties on both sides of the ocean. Thus, the next projects for the Center such as the next issue of the TSN magazine or the creation of their own Expert Title in Transatlantic Studies were explained.
